David became a Christian in 1978. He learned about his faith in an old time Pentecostal church and carried a bible everywhere, Shared the Gospel with anybody who would listen and preached on the streets in Palm Springs, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. He has a degree in Biblical Studies and Ministry from Friends International Christian University.
He has spent a fair amount of time in personal growth and coaching. He has worked with many different organizations including IPono and PSI Seminars. He also ran his own IT business for 15 years. He eventually developed his own coaching program with methods that have proved effective for his clients and has led seminars for churches interested in cultivating strong leaders.
He has served as a Jr High, High School and Young Adult youth pastor in a few different churches, including Harvest Rock Church in Pasadena Ca in the 1990s. He was the Prayer Pastor for Angelus Temple in Los Angeles ( around 2011). He serves as the lead pastor of Living Grace Ministries.
“In all of my time working in churches and working with people I have come to realize something important. We, as a church, have taken the greatest love story ever, the love of God for us and the sacrifice of His Son and turned it into a divisive message- ‘Agree with me or you are going to hell!!!’ [but] God’s love has a different message… That is why we started this ministry. If you want to know what is meant by a different message, then come and see.”

Niki is proud to be from Colorado Springs. She calls herself a “real valley girl” because she has been blessed to wake up each morning to that beautiful view of Pikes Peak. Her education includes a “Bachelor of Arts” degree from The Colorado College where she was highly involved in theater productions, the black student union and Campus Crusade for Christ. There she learned to walk between worlds.
She and her colleagues participated in community outreach, went on city mission trips, tackled issues of racial reconciliation and organized thoughtful debates on many hot topics of the day. She is still adding knowledge to faith. She recently completed trauma and professional life coaching certifications.
She has extensive experience working with individuals from nearly all walks of life. She has a strong interest in personal development and participates in courses and conferences whenever she can. She also loves to help others rebound and reach goals evidenced by years of public service and teaching experience. She taught at charter schools prior to working in the county’s economic assistance division where she helped meet the needs of our most vulnerable citizens for five years, but left that position to fulfill her calling as co-pastor of Living Grace Ministries.
Niki was married to David in December of 2022. “David is passionate about serving God, healing hearts, and helping people. He lives to be an example of God’s love and grace. I’m honored and excited to work alongside him. We’re both really eager to see what God’s going to do next.”
David didn’t initially like the idea of a bio page. He said, “I don’t want this to be about me, but about what God is doing. That said, I listen to Niki. She is smart and wise in so many ways.”
